Sugar & Syrup Rewards Club Policy

By joining the Rewards Club, you agree to use the program in the manner specified in these Terms and Conditions and are bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorised to register as a member or participate in the Rewards Club.

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Sugar & Syrup Rewards Club. This program is run by T&L Sugars Limited, Factory Road, London E16 2EW.

The following terms and conditions apply to individuals who access or use the Rewards Club, whether as a merchant ("we", "us", "our", or "merchant") or as a member ("you" or "member") who earns points through purchases and other activities.

Membership

All members of the Rewards Club must have a valid UK address and be aged 18 years or over.

Reward Club members may only have one account each. Points are valid for use only by the recipient Reward Club member.  We reserve the right to refuse, merge, or close any account(s) and delete any points at any time in our absolute discretion.

Reward Club members can choose to leave the scheme at any time. By leaving the Reward Club members forfeit the right to any points already accrued.

Reward Club members must keep their personal details updated on their accounts. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of points incurred as a result of incorrect details.

Points are the property of T&L Sugars Ltd and have no cash value.

How to Gain and Redeem Points

Members can earn points through various activities, such as making purchases, celebrating birthdays, and engaging with our brand. These points can then be exchanged for discounts on future orders.

Individual promotions may have different limits as communicated in their purchase conditions.

Points can only be used once, at their face value, at www.sugarandsyrup.com online site.  Points may not be refunded or reissued. If a product is returned, points earned for that purchase will remain deducted. This does not affect your statutory rights.

No change will be given if the value of points is greater than the cost of the product. However, if the cost of the product is greater than the points, the difference can be paid according to payment options available at check out.

Points cannot be transferred, bought, sold or traded in any way. 

At this point in time, there is no time limit for redeeming your accrued points. However, we reserve the right to review this policy in the future.

Program Changes and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Rewards Club at any time, for any reason, at our sole and absolute discretion.

This includes, but is not limited to, the right to:

  • Change the way points are earned or redeemed.
  • Alter the value of points or the rewards available.
  • Adjust the number of points gained for specific activities at any time without prior notice.
  • Remove or cancel points.

We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. Members are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are binding on members who participate in the Rewards Club. 

Reward Club members who continue to participate in the Club following such a change will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.

Approval and Membership

We reserve the right to approve or deny any Rewards Club registration in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the denial or termination of your membership.

Compliance and Legal Obligations

The Member shall at all times comply with all applicable laws, guidance, regulations and codes of practice relevant to the services.

We reserve the right to audit member accounts and point accrual to ensure compliance with these terms. Any fraudulent activity or abuse of the Rewards Club (such as creating multiple fake accounts to gain points) will result in immediate termination of the account and forfeiture of all points.

Liability

We will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with (i) use of, or inability to use, our Website or promotions; or (ii) use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Website or otherwise connected with this Rewards Club.

In particular, we will not be liable for: (i) loss of profit or revenue; (ii) any indirect, economic or consequential loss of any kind; (iii) loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iv) loss or corruption of data.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Data Protection

Personal data is collected and processed to enable the operation of the Rewards Club, in line with our Privacy Policy, which can be reviewed at https://sugarandsyrup.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Reward Club members may remove this consent and request deletion by emailing orders@sugarandsyrup.com at any time or clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.

All data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act 2018

Entire Agreement

By joining this Rewards Club, you agree to use the program in the manner specified in these Terms and Conditions and are bound by them. This constitutes the entire agreement.

Waiver

The failure of the Merchant to enforce or exercise at any time any term or any right under this program does not constitute and shall not be construed as a waiver of such term or right and shall in no way affect the Merchant’s later right to enforce or to exercise it.

Severability

If any provision of this Policy is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from this Policy, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Rights of Third Parties

A person who is not a Rewards Club member and governed by the terms of this Policy shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
