Lyle's Ultimate Golden Syrup Flapjack Recipe

Make perfect flapjacks every time with Lyle’s Golden Syrup. Soft, chewy, and absolutely golden. These flapjacks are easy to bake and even easier to love. Slice them up for a treat everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

295g Unsalted Butter, softened

250g Lyle’s Golden Syrup

500g Rolled Porridge Oats

Pinch of Salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C or 160° fan.
In a large non-stick saucepan combine the butter and golden syrup. Heat gently until melted, remove from the heat and stir in the oats and salt.
Spoon the mixture into a 20cm shallow loose-bottomed square baking tin, greased and lined with baking paper. Level using a palette knife.
Make for 25 mins until golden brown.
Remove and let cool for 30 mins before removing from the tin. Let cool completely on a wire wrack before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
